Drive Friendly is the North London driving school with a difference - we make sure you pass quickly, learn safely and have fun!
- Our local, patient and friendly driving instructors grew up in the area and each of us has at least ten years experience providing personalised driving tuition.
- Lessons are two hours at £45 an hour.
- We cover a large area of North London and are always happy to meet at places convenient for you - be it outside your front door, at work or at a tube station.
- We're flexible on times and are generally open for service 6 days a week from 7am - 7pm (subject to availability).
Terms and Conditions
The Client The client is the recipient of the driving tuition and also any parent or guardian of the recipient. To accept tuition means the client/clients accept all the terms and conditions. Lessons The contract for driving tuition is solely between the Client and the driving instructor. You and your instructor are responsible for agreeing all matters relating to the time, pick up location and duration of lessons. Change of pick up location should be requested at time of booking. A request of pick location change thereafter may result in lesson cancellation and thus subject to the late cancellation policy. . You must notify your instructor of any matters which affect your ability or entitlement to have driving tuition, for example, but not limited to, any lack, or loss, of a valid provisional driving licence. Lessons start at the agreed time. If the instructor is running late, they will endeavour to inform the client before the start time. The full lesson will then finish late. Alternatively the lesson may finish on time with time owing. This credited time will be recorded and added to a future lesson. If the pupil is late, the lesson will still finish on time. Lessons can often overrun, this time will also be recorded. Cancelations and adjustments If the client wishes to cancel or move a lesson start time or pick up/ drop off location, a minimum of 48 hours prior notice must be given. Cancelations and any adjustments must be made direct to your driving instructor. If you do not give at least 48 hours’ notice of cancelation your instructor will still charge you for the lesson/s Concerned. Payments and Price Changes Lesson Payments must be made on the day tuition is recieved. Payments in advance are also acceptable. Continuous late payments may result in cancellation of booked lessons and further, termination of tuition all together. The price of lessons may be changed at any time. The client will always receive prior notice of such a change. Any payment credits help will be honoured for 12 month at the hourly rate at time of payment. Any unused lessons after 12 months have elapsed shall have any lesson price increase applied. Any unused payments after 24 months shall be credited to Drive Friendly driving school and will therefore be non-refundable. Transferability of lessons The Client cannot sell or transfer lessons which have been purchased in their name to any other person without our consent. Law applying to Terms and Conditions These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

2. Subject: Hourly Rate Update – Effective July 30, 2025
Hi everyone,
I wanted to give you a heads-up that from July 30, 2025, our hourly rate will be increasing by £5 to £50.
We’ve kept our rates the same for the past two years, but during that time, our costs have risen significantly. Vehicle lease rates have increased, and insurance and fuel prices have also gone up—factors that are unfortunately out of our control. Our previous three-year lease ended in late 2024, and renewing at the new rates has had a big impact on our overall costs.
We really appreciate your support and understanding, and we’ll continue to provide the best service possible. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch.
